Tien Giang province

Tiền Giang () is a province in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam.

Administrative divisions

The province comprises one city (thành phố), one town (thị xã), and eight districts (huyện):

Etymology

The province's name derives from Sino-Vietnamese (Hán Tự: 前江), which means "the Front River".
